The perfect image size?
last month i started using Jux and it was easy because i edited all my material in to a final 1920 x 1080 and it was always a perfect fit. now suddenly there is a crop box that can only move around. can u expand it? what did u guys change? can i please be informed of the new standard resolution for Jux so that i can upload perfect sized images for my slideshow. much appreciated!Loving Jux! cheers!
So the "crop box" might be misleading - it doesn't actually crop the photo, but acts as a representation of your browser size. Nothing has changed about how the photos are displayed in Slideshows, except that you now have some control over the positioning. We are hoping to add an alternate layout soon that will allow full photos to be displayed in Slideshows (similar to the third "Picture size" option in Photos). As you've pointed out, though, landscape photos are still the best bet if you want to get the full thing in on most [desktop] screens.
Also, we don't cap the maximum resolution of pictures, but will downsize it for performance.
